Matariki Vs Good Friday

Matariki
- A cluster of stars that signify the start of the new year for the Maori
- Holiday for Maori and people who choose to celebrate it

Good Friday
- Good Friday is a holiday which commemorates the crucifixion and the death of Jesus Christ
- It is a holiday for Christians who respect their religion.

Why it should replace Good Friday
- it only happens once a year for a few days
- Other countries like Hawaii and japan celebrate it too
- it is part of our national culture
- To help preserve a celebration for future generations
-Not many people know what Good Friday is and why people celebrate it
- Everyone knows what Matariki is and why people celebrate it
- Christians only celebrate Good Friday
- Everyone can celebrate Matariki

What went well and why?
- getting my research went really well because I knew a lot about Matariki before I had started, I just had to research about Good Friday and write down my information.

What didn't go so well and why?
- Making the poster didn't go so well because I didn't have enough time to plan it out properly and write all my information

If you were to do this again what would you do differently and why?
- I would plan it our properly and choose what to write, I would also add more decorations so that the poster itself looks better.
