This term for homework 7ld have been doing our homework for sustainability. One of the challenges were that we had to make a couplet about sustainability, for the task we had to make it a couplet and put it on a slideshow, then we had decorate it to make the standards of our rubric.
This whole slideshow took me about three days to complete and decorate. I am really proud of this because the couplet took me four hours and I did it by myself with no ones help. Normally I would need a lot of inspiration but this time I just needed to look at some words and I knew what to do.
So far I think I have completed the task very well and think that Whaea Mel does too. I have a little bit to fix up but then it will be complete. I hope you like my couplet and I hope to post more poems. tell me what you think of my slideshow in the comment and I will try to reply to your questions.

Newslea Reading!
These past two weeks for reading 7LD have been reading off this site called Newslea. Newslea is a reading website that everyone can use for free. For Newslea the articles I read was ‘What makes a planet Habitable’ and ‘The History of Earth Day’. While reading we had to do a quiz, we had 4 questions to answer relating to the article. I got 3 questions for the Habitable planet and for the Earth Day I had 0 out of 4. There is also a write feature which you just write what the teacher had assigned to you. One of my friends had 4 out of 4, we were both surprised at her score. Here are some photos on Newslea and my score.
Overall I like Newslea a lot and I can read whenever I like. You should make an account if you like reading too. I hoped you enjoy looking at Newslea and this post, please feel free to comment!

EOTC Week!
This past week Ako Ngatahi and Ruma Toru have been at EOTC week. EOTC week stands for ' Education Outside The Classroom' week. The year fives and sixes were allowed to come to EOTC Week, the catch was that we had to pay $50 dollars to attend, 3 kids couldn't come sadly. The events we went to were Surfing, Adrenalin forest (The best), Sailing (Which was canceled sadly) and last but not least we went to Mega air and we also did Top Team(My team won). We all had lots of fun and we all enjoyed it. Here are some photos of what we did and the places we went. My favorite event was Mega air and Top team, We all had fun so that was good.
Adrenalin forest is where you basically climb on trees, You have obstacles you have to face and there are 3 levels, 1, 2 and 3. 2 and 3 I didn't get to complete because Everyone was crowding number 1 and I wanted to number one to see how it was.
Surfing was also fun but seaweed was EVERYWHERE, Literally. We all had spent 6 minutes cleaning the seaweed off and us girls had to was our hair. We had a lot of fun. We did surfing and body boarding, everyone loved body boarding
