Food Hygiene and Safety - Home Economics

This week for Home Economics we have been revising on food hygiene and safety in the kitchen. We were tasked to make a word art of many key points when in the kitchen that is relevant to food hygiene and safety. This is what I have created so far. Some of the words are hard to see but I wasn't able to change it as the site I used didn't let me
Words / Sentences Used -
- Sanitise Work Surfaces
- Wear Gloves if you have cuts
- Wash Hands
- Tie up long hair
- Cooked food should be in air tight containers
- Wash Fruits and Veggies
- Use Safe Water and Raw materials
- Take off jewelry
- Clean Nails
- Wear Aprons
- Use Different cutting boards for meat, veggies and dairy items
- Check expiry date
- Cook food thoroughly
- Avoid cross-contamination
- Close draws and cupboards
-Uncooked foods should be under 5°
- Cooked foods should be over 60°
- Seperate raw meat and cooked foods
