What you do -
Real estate agents are based in offices and work on behalf of the client to get the best price possible. You work for clients and sell their properties on behalf of them to buyers who are ready to buy properties. You research and calculate the value of properties that clients are willing to sell. You also advertise properties to buyers online or in brochures to interest buyers. Real Estate agents organise and negotiate property sales and contracts with both sellers and buyers, they also organise building inspections and reports for the property.

What I found interesting about the job -
I found the actual work interesting as you have to wait for clients to contact you and you have to prepare and advertise everything yourself. You also have to interest the buyers in the property you want to buy and convince them that this is the property they want.
What I didn’t realise about the job -
I didn’t realise that it is quite hard to actually become a Real Estate Agent as you have to get two diplomas and have to have three years of experience beforehand.
The first step in getting the job -
The first step in getting the job would be to choose what subjects that could help me get my diploma in Highschool.
