Cybersmart

For the past few weeks 8Bh and 8Ts have been working together about things on a blog post that bugs us. The first thing we did was write a bug list on things that bugged us when someone is on our blog, we then were asked to get into partners with the other class. I teamed up with Kayla and we chose a problem to work on. Our problem was when someone comments and then deletes their comments afterwards. we were working out possible solutions and we made a presentation on how to solve it. This is the presentation we made together, I hope you like it and check out Kayla's blog. I also hope you take this to mind and think about what you write.

How long does it take you to write a decent comment?

  1. Hey Trisha,

What a great idea. I think having a checklist would be very helpful when it comes to publishing a comment. I think your reasoning is clear and accurate. To answer your question I think it takes around 10minutes to write a decent comment, you need to take the time to read the post and then think about how you are going to word what you like and what they can work on. How long does it take you to write a decent comment? Do you have blogs that you follow and comment on often? I think that you would like Nikita's blog from St Bernadette's, she does pretty detailed posts. Here is the link: http://stbsnikitar.blogspot.com/

Well done on completing this task within the time frame. You always share interesting and eyecatching DLO's. I have noticed that you are taking time to fully explain your tasks to your readers so that we know what the context is of the work that you are sharing.

I also liked how you linked your partner Kayla's blog to share with us. I was able to click on that and leave her a positive, thoughtful and helpful comment as well.

I challenge you to take the time to write 2 comments to other groups in 8Bh/8Ts who posted their Cybersmart DLO. Time yourself and see how long those comments took! I will subscribe to this post so I get notified when you reply to my comment!
