The New Building Reflection

This week our new building has been complete and is open to all the students, we still have some things to wait for to be complete but we can finally go in. We were given a tour so we knew where everything was and inside it was amazing, there were so many cool things we could do inside and the new cafe was really neat.it is really busy and gets really crowded at times but it is really cool. All the S block classes have moved into their new classes and japanese has too. I really like the new block because we have more space to sit inside of and there are really cool areas we can sit in. one of the spaces are the little cubby learning areas which are three different colours and have different furniture inside for people to relax and do their work in. Me and my friends always try to sit there but it's always taken by the older kids. at one point i did think it was a little small but they were still building the outdoors area. I hope they get it done quickly so people have more room to sit down because it does get a little crowded when the whole school sits in there. I don't really like how long the lines

  1. Hi Trisha,

I really liked reading your blog post about your first impressions of our new building! The more we 'live' in the new space, the better we will get to know the new areas and the changes. When the new outdoor space is open, there will be more room to spread out which will be really nice when the weather gets hotter.

I also really like the study nooks by the library. I think we were really lucky to get such an amazing new school. I hope 8Bh enjoys you time in the whare space for your te reo Maori class and the new Japanese classroom this term!
